Represented a P & I Club as well as the Owners of a Vessel in a nationally publicised criminal proceedings involving the arrest, detention and prosecution of the Vessel and its crew members charged with an alleged offence of conspiracy, importation and transportation of narcotics
Acted for a shipping company in respect of a dispute arising from damage to cargo, arrest of vessel and claim for damages.
Represented a shipping company and another P & I Club in respect of the defence of the crew members in a hotly contested criminal proceedings involving an alleged conspiracy and importation of narcotics. We successfully secured a release of the vessel and the discharge of the crew members at the no case submission pre-defence stage.
We advised a Consignee bank in respect of the wrongful discharge of cargo and accrued demurrage.

Represented a consortium of lenders in the receivership of a public limited company culminating in the recovery of a term facility of over N8,000,000,000.00 (Eight Billion Naira).
Acted for an asset management corporation in the receivership, re-negotiation and recovery of a credit facility in the sum of N5,000,000,000.00 (Five Billion Naira).
Represented a Consortium of lenders in the receivership of an industrial chemical producing Company culminating in the recovery of well over N2,500,000.000.00 (Two Billion Five Hundred Million Naira).
Advised a financial institution on the receivership of a steel recycling Company and recovered the sum of well over N600,000,000.00 (Six Hundred Million Naira).
Advised a bottling company on the acquisition and development of a multi-billion naira ultra-modern factory complex.

Acted for a Nigerian oil and gas company in respect of a tax dispute arising from the Divestment of Contractor’s Right in the Production Sharing Contract of an Oil Mining Lease (OML).
Represented a foreign oil servicing company in respect of a dispute arising from the internal management of its Nigerian affiliate in a manner prejudicial to the interest of the foreign parent company.
Successfully represented an oil and gas company in setting aside an arbitral award in the sum of $4,000,000.00 (Four Million Dollars) against the client in an arbitration proceeding.
Represented an oil and gas company in respect of an employment dispute arising from the propriety of the removal of its Managing Director.
For the purpose of obtaining a stay of pending English proceedings, we advised a multi-national oil company on the applicable Nigerian laws governing a complex employment dispute.

Advised a Real Estates Company on the development of an upscale Residential Estate of 150 units in Lagos, Nigeria and defended the client in respect of all actions instituted by speculators.
Acted for a Construction Company in respect of a dispute arising from the explosion of an oil pipeline during the course of a trunk A road construction and issues relating to the payment of compensation to victims.
Represented a Construction Company in respect of a dispute arising from the breach of a joint venture agreement for the development of a Residential Estate comprising of 134 housing units.
Advised a Real Estate Development Company in respect of the financing and construction of a multi-structured office building in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Advised a property development Company in respect of a dispute arising from the issuance of a private note for financing the construction of a multi-billion Housing Estate in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Successfully negotiated an out of court/non-prosecutorial settlement agreement between the Lagos State Government and some Proprietors of Private Schools in a class action relating to outstanding payment obligations.
In a ground-breaking decision of the Court of Appeal, we successfully represented a client in an action for the recovery of his professional fees in a debt recovery contingency action in which he was debriefed midcourse.
Acted for a fishing company in setting aside on appeal, a judgment in which damages of well over N230,000,000.00 was awarded against the Client.
Successfully represented a haulage company in staving off a claim of well over N2,000,000,000.00 (Two Billion Naira) asserted against the haulage company.
Successfully acted for a technology services company in an arbitration for the recovery of an outstanding license and maintenance fee in the sum of about $2,000,000.00 and obtained an award against the defendant financial institution.
